Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to make a frame in the form of a cone for the future tree. You need to make it out of cardboard, choose the size the way you want to see your future tree. It is advisable to glue the cone on the outside with cling film, since then we will have to glue the tree itself onto it. Let the cone with the film dry.
Step 2
The next stage is to create the frame of the future Christmas tree. We take a bowl, pour PVA glue there and soak knitting threads in it.
Step 3
The task is to create a frame from threads with glue. Use whatever colors you like. The frame should not contain too much thread, otherwise it will look less airy. But also too little, otherwise its strength will be insufficient. Let this whole structure dry completely.
Step 4
While the tree frame is drying, cut the orange or grapefruit into rings 5-7 mm thick. The slices should not be too juicy, so you need to blot them with a napkin or towel to remove excess juice.
Step 5
Now we … bake the sliced citrus wedges in the oven. Place baking paper on the bottom of the baking sheet, spread the cut rings on it in one layer. Place the baking sheet in the oven at about 250 degrees Celsius.
Step 6
Dry the slices in the oven until they are already hard, but at the same time do not spoil their appearance. Then take them out of the oven and let them cool completely.
Step 7
The last stage is decorating the tree. Here, our baked citrus slices, dried citrus peels, the remains of some old Christmas tree decorations, ribbons, bows, and everything else that you can find will be used. Having shown creativity and imagination, you can make a very unusual and very beautiful gift for your friends for the New Year.
