Stocking up on warm clothes for the cold months, one should not forget not only about warmth and comfort, but about external beauty. Even the most boring knitted hat will be transformed by a playful knitted bubo. A hand-made pom-pom will also make the autumn headdress truly individual.

Instructions
Step 1
Choose a yarn for your pompom. Soft, thick threads work best. The color of the bubo can be anything and does not have to match the color of the hat to which you want to sew the pompom. Use a variety of yarns in all colors of the rainbow for a fun, multi-colored bean.
Step 2
Take heavy cardboard and cut out two round pieces of the same diameter. The larger the patterns are, the more magnificent the bubbles will be in the end. Make a hole in the cardboard in the center with nail scissors so that your workpiece looks like a donut or a donut, then cut out a sector near the circles that makes up about a quarter of the total volume.
Step 3
Wind the amount of yarn you need onto the cardboard circles. Do not spare the material, otherwise the bubo will come out too thin. In this case, you need not to overdo it: if the workpiece turns out to be too thick, the cardboard can wrinkle and significantly spoil the appearance of the product. Try to wind the threads evenly, with the same pressure, so that no "slack" is formed.
Step 4
Draw a long string of yarn between two cardboard discs. The rope will hold both halves of the bubo together. If the blanket is thick enough, skip the rope several times. Then the product will come out stronger and not bloom after several washings.
Step 5
Place the scissors between two pieces of cardboard and carefully cut the yarn. Use a well-sharpened pair of scissors to keep your work from looking sloppy. Dull blades will cut the yarn, leaving unsightly edges. Tie the resulting threads tightly together with the rope passed earlier. The same rope can be used to sew the finished pom-pom to the hat. To give the headdress a slightly playful, frivolous look, attach the buboes using long braids, which can be made from the same yarn or from thick colored ribbons.
