Paper hats have the same right to exist as ordinary hats, familiar to everyone from fabric and felt. In addition to being entertaining, the paper hat also has a practical function - it turns out to be an indispensable item during renovations, when you need to protect your head from dust and paint, and with its help you can save yourself from the scorching sun in the summer heat.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a large newspaper sheet and fold it in half, aligning the right edge with the left, and then fold the resulting rectangle towards you, forming a horizontal fold. Expand the workpiece, turn it horizontally towards you and bend it towards you again to get another fold along the long side of the rectangle.
Step 2
Now fold the bottom corners of the top layer of the newspaper to the center line of the fold you just marked, and fold the bottom half of the top layer of paper up. Fold the left and right corners of the rectangle at the bottom, aligning them with the rear center line of the fold, then also fold the lapel left at the bottom with beveled corners back.
Step 3
The resulting trapezoidal shape already resembles a hat, but it can be supplemented with a fold-lapel - for this, carefully twist the lower corners and make a lapel on the lower wide edge of the future hat.
Step 4
Open the bottom pocket of the figure, and flatten the top edge to make the hat more comfortable to wear. The hat is ready - you can put it on yourself, or you can present it as a comic gift to your friends, or give it to your child to play with. By experimenting with different sizes of paper sheets, you can fold hats in different sizes.
