Instructions
Step 1
Seek help from experienced magicians. In many cities there are special schools for people who want to learn the secrets of magic tricks, including card tricks. Training is usually paid, but if you really learn a few effective tricks, you can quickly get back the money spent on training, showing tricks on the street or at some festive events.
Step 2
Buy books written by famous magicians. You can start with children's editions. For example, use the book of the famous illusionist Igor Kio. His book describes in detail the secrets of the simplest card tricks that even a child can master.
Step 3
Watch the performances of the magicians on the video. You will be able to stop and slow down the tape by examining in detail the work of the magician's hands during the performance. You may be able to unravel the secret of some kind of trick in this way.
Step 4
Use distractions while showing focus. For a magician, such a technique is the repetition of magic words. Come up with your own magic spell and repeat it loudly and expressively at the most crucial moment, when you need to distract the attention of the audience. You can also use jokes. While the viewer is laughing, you can easily swap one card for another. To distract the audience, ask them to count loudly, for example, from 10 to 0, while you perform your "magical actions."
Step 5
Learn the simplest trick "Guess 1 card out of 5". To do this, take a deck of cards and four volunteers. Place them at the table, hand out five cards to each. Have each of them guess one of the five cards in their hands.
Step 6
Collect all cards clockwise. It is important to comply with this condition, but to do it so that the participants in the focus and the audience do not notice this manipulation of yours. To do this, use the distraction we described above (ask participants to count, say "magic" words, etc.).
Step 7
Put the cards collected clockwise again in front of you into five piles. Ask one participant to select one stack. Show your chosen cards in a “fan” and hold them facing the audience. Ask if there is one among the cards that this participant thought. If he says no, take the next stack.
Step 8
When the participant says that the card he has chosen is among those in your hands, you will easily guess it. If the participant sits fourth at the table (clockwise), then his card is the fourth. Nobody except you in the hall knows the secret of this competition, so your task is to behave as confidently as possible and not let the participants notice the "non-randomness" of how you collect cards from the table.
