People began to decorate a house for such a holiday as Easter a long time ago. Unfortunately, then there was no way to do it in an original and unique way. Well, since now it is there, why not take advantage of it? I propose to sew a decoration toy, that is, an Easter bunny.

It is necessary

  • - flannel fabric;
  • - synthetic winterizer;
  • - tailor's pins;
  • - a needle;
  • - scissors;
  • - threads;
  • - pencil.

Instructions

Step 1

Several squares need to be cut out of flannel fabric, and such that they are the same size. It is not necessary to use fabric of the same color for this craft.

Step 2

The resulting fabric squares must be folded so that a small pile is formed. Such a pile must be secured with tailor's pins, and in such a way that they are not straight, but obliquely. Do not overdo it with the amount of square details, 3 squares is enough.

Step 3

Now you can start sewing. Guided by the laid pins, you need to sew the blank of the future Easter bunny. The first line should lie exactly diagonally, that is, from one corner of the square to the other. Sew all subsequent lines very carefully at a distance of 2 centimeters. They must be parallel to the first.

Step 4

Further, on the stitched workpiece, you need to make a kind of ruffle. To do this, take scissors and cut the fabric between the seams. Please note that not all layers should be cut, but only the upper ones, that is, you do not need to touch the last layer.

Step 5

After you finish cutting the fabric between the machine seams, you need to turn the workpiece over to the wrong side and draw a rabbit on it with a pencil.

Step 6

Then you need to cut out the drawn rabbit. Thus, the first blank of the product is ready. In the same way, the second part of the craft should be done, just do not forget that it must be a mirror image of the first, otherwise you will end up with two identical parts.

Step 7

Attach the blanks to each other with the front side, then start sewing them, stepping back from the edge of 0.5 centimeters. Leave a small hole for stuffing at the bottom of the product.

Step 8

Turn the craft out onto the front side and fill it with padding polyester. Then carefully sew up the filler hole with a blind stitch using a thread that matches the color of the garment. The Easter bunny is ready!
