There are various events in connection with which it is customary to give gifts. As an independent or in addition to the main gift, you can make a beautiful soap from natural ingredients with your own hands. There are many options for a gift - for a child in the shape of a toy, for a woman in the shape of a flower, taking into account the type of skin, or for a man for shaving. The article describes the process of making soap using the example of a Christmas or New Year's gift.
It is necessary
- Ingredients
- Mandatory:
- • white soap base - 100 g;
- • base (fatty) oil - olive, jojoba, walnut, almond, evening primrose, etc. - 6-8 drops;
- • essential oil - lavender, rosemary, tea tree, orange, cedar, etc. - 4 drops;
- • natural dye of blue or blue color - 1-2 drops;
- • odorant (with the smell of pine needles, vanilla, citrus).
- Additional (if any):
- • hydralate (orange, rose, lavender) - 10 ml;
- • glycerin - ½ teaspoon;
- • aloe vera - ¼ teaspoon of oil or ½ teaspoon of gel;
- • silk proteins - 5-7 drops;
- • vitamins A (retinol) and E (tocopherol) - 2-3 drops each.
- Additional ingredients improve the quality of the soap, especially its moisturizing properties. But even in their absence, the soap turns out to be natural, useful and very pleasant.
- In addition, you need:
- 1. Measuring glass made of heat-resistant glass (or other utensils for a water bath).
- 2. The soap mold is rectangular.
- 3. Silicone mold for making elements of the New Year (Christmas) theme.
- 4. Glass or wooden stick for stirring (it is very convenient to use sticks for sushi).
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare everything you need in the soap making process. Cut the soap base into cubes with a side of 1-1.5 cm. Melt a small amount of the base (10-15 grams) in a glass in a water bath, paint it blue and carefully pour it into the mold.
Step 2
Wait for solidification and remove the figures from the silicone mold.
Step 3
Melt the remaining soap base in a bath until smooth. Add the base oils, I have jojoba, walnut and evening primrose, as well as additional ingredients (excluding hydralate), if any. Mix everything.
Pour hydralate and essential oils into the mass (I have lavender, rosemary and lemon balm). Add perfume last.
Pour the mixture into a rectangular shape, leaving a little on the bottom of the measuring glass, and let it harden slightly (so that a thick film forms on top).
Step 4
Spread the figures on the surface of the solidifying soap. Warm up the mass left in the glass a little in the bath and gently pour it in a thin layer to fix the decorating elements. Leave the soap to solidify at room temperature.
Step 5
Remove the soap from the mold and make a festive packaging.
