Step 1
First you need to measure the window. The width of one curtain is approximately equal to the width of the window, and you can choose any length of the curtain. Our curtains are designed for a window measuring 100 x 125 cm. Cut out 2 rectangles of 45 x 100 cm from a floral fabric. From red fabric - 2 strips 23 x 100 cm and 14 strips 5 x 35 cm. From white fabric - 2 strips 23 x 100 cm.
Step 2
We take 14 strips of red fabric, fold in half lengthwise with the front side inward and sew along the edge. Leave the ends open. We turn them out and iron them so that the seam is in the middle.
Step 3
We place 7 stripes at one end on a rectangle made of colorful fabric at the same distance from each other. You need to step back a little from the edges. On top we put a strip of white fabric folded in half. Now we fold the second end of each of the seven strips into white. All raw edges should be flush. Sew along the edge and sew. Ironing out.
Step 4
Each of the 7 stripes must be stitched to white exactly in the middle. Then sew parallel lines along the white stripe at an equal distance from each other. For convenience, you can first draw them with a pencil.
Step 5
Now we sew a strip of red color to the bottom of the curtain. We bend the bottom and side seams of the curtain, sew. Ironing out. If it seems to you that the seams on the seamy side look sloppy, then you can also cut a thin white fabric lining.
