Origami is a very ancient art of folding paper figures. The homeland of this art is the ancient East. The paper itself was discovered in ancient China, and the art of folding, paper plastic was born in Japan. Originally, origami was used only for religious purposes. And only after the Second World War, origami came to America and Europe, where it found many fans. This is a very exciting activity and as soon as you try it, it will captivate you entirely.
Instructions
Step 1
Purchase a special set of paper for paper plastic. They are small square sheets. Usually this is their motley coloring, the same or multi-colored on both sides. Plain colored paper can be used, but it is much more difficult to fold and does not hold creases well.
Step 2
Fold the sheet in half. Along the fold line, fold the corners towards the middle on both sides.
Step 3
From the bottom, lift the free edges on both sides up and fold the corners to the other side.
Step 4
Open the resulting triangle and fold it in the other direction, you should get a rhombus.
Step 5
Bend the free corners of the rhombus to the top. Fold the shape again so that a rhombus forms from the triangle. Lift the free corners to the top again.
Step 6
Between the bent corners - the top of the triangles. Spread these triangles apart. You have a boat.
Step 7
Try making a two-pipe boat. Take a square piece of paper. Roll all corners of the square to the center of the square. Turn the newly formed square towards you with the other side and once again tuck the corners to the center. Repeat this operation a third time. Flip the square. Then expand a pair of opposite diamonds into rectangles. Bend the shape in half.
