1. If you are not too sophisticated in sewing, first make a pattern from paper or newspaper. Please note that it is not at all necessary to sew a gift bag in the sizes indicated on the diagram, they are given only for example. If you want, change the size of the pattern parts proportionally, depending on what size of the bag you need.
2. Cut out the bottom and side of the pouch according to the pattern. Do not forget about the seam allowances, which should be the larger, the more the fabric crumbles.
3. Fold over the top of the bag according to the pattern and sew two stitches on the sewing machine to form a drawstring where the tie will be skipped.
4. Sew the side seam and sew on the bottom. Sew each section of the fabric with a zigzag seam.
Insert the lace. The gift bag is ready!
Please note that such a bag can be sewn from either thick fabric or organza. In the latter case, it should be used only for the side part, and the bottom should be cut out of a dense one (in this case, dense fabric should be sewn to the bottom of the organza).
