A decorative pillow is a great way to decorate a new interior or refresh an old one. The choice of store pillows is large enough, but it is not always possible to find the necessary color, pattern, size. A small, hand-made sofa cushion will add a twist to your room's décor. A beautifully designed miniature pillow will be a wonderful gift for any occasion.

Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to make a round pillow is to sew two identical pieces of fabric and fill with holofiber. Using a compass (or utensil of a suitable size), draw a circular pattern on the parchment. Cut it out and trace it over to the fabric you have chosen for this purpose. Departing 2 cm from the drawn line, cut a circle out of the fabric. Repeat the same for the other half of the pillow. Fold the circles right side in and sew, leaving a hole of about 10 cm. Turn the cover over to the front side and fill with filler. Carefully tuck the fabric inside and sew the hole by hand or with a typewriter.
Step 2
In addition to a simple cover, you can sew a cover from rags. To do this, divide the resulting round pattern into several triangle segments. Cut and attach to fabrics of different colors or textures. Circle the triangles and then cut out, leaving seam allowances (1.5-2 cm). Choose colors so that each of them is in harmony with something in the room. The back of the pillow can be left intact. Sew the triangles along one edge, face-to-face, until you have a circle. Fold the two circles with the right side and sew as indicated in the first paragraph. Fill the pillow with holofiber and sew the cover to the end.
Step 3
A pillow made from solid circles can be decorated with appliqué and / or frills. To do this, cut out a figurine (heart, flower, some kind of inscription) from fabric that is in harmony with the main product in color. Stitch the appliqué to one of the circles of the cover. After that, sew the two halves of the cover, turn out and fill with filler. Stitch ruffle or lace around the entire circumference of the pillow.
Step 4
You can sew a flower pillow. To do this, sew a silk or lace ribbon to one part of the round cover. Sew the tape in a spiral pattern, starting at the edge and working towards the center. Make folds in several places to create beautiful petals. Then sew the “flower” with the second half of the cover, fill it with holofiber (or any other filler) and sew up the hole.
