The lotus is an unusually beautiful and delicate flower of large size and delicate aroma. Since ancient times it has been called the sacred flower of the east. He was admired, he was depicted on canvases, in woodcarving, in ceramics, in embroidery on fabrics. Poets of antiquity sang it in verse. Lotus flowers symbolized purity and grace. Its beauty attracts and delights even now. You can draw this wonderful flower, lotus, quite quickly using a regular pencil.
It is necessary
paper, pencils of different hardness, eraser
Instructions
Step 1
Place the sheet of paper horizontally. For a preliminary sketch, use a pencil with a hard lead.
Step 2
Draw an oval shape around the center of the sheet. Pull the upper part of this oval up a little, as shown in the figure.
Step 3
Now draw the side petals of the closed lotus by drawing semi-ovals on the flower. Make the applied lines thin so that in the future you can easily erase the unnecessary. Make the petals themselves a little pointed at the ends.
Step 4
Draw two more central petals with the same thin, almost imperceptible lines (see figure).
Step 5
Now, inside the oval, you will need to draw the second and third row of petals. The petals of the second row should be located between the petals of the first row. Petals of the third row between the petals of the second. All rows of petals should point towards the center top as shown. This completes the preliminary sketches of the lotus bud.
Step 6
Proceed to the lower open petals. They should be much wider than the petals in the bud. Draw some rows.
Step 7
Now clean up your pencil sketch with the eraser. Erase all unnecessary and unnecessary lines.
Step 8
Carefully trace the outline of the flower with thick, bold lines. This is best done with a hard-soft pencil lead.
Step 9
Draw small lines on the lotus flower at the top and bottom of each petal as shown.
Step 10
Now apply light shadows. Shade the lower parts of the petals more (darker) than the upper ones. Apply eyeshadow with a soft lead pencil.
Step 11
Use your fingertip or a piece of torn paper to blend the shadows. This will make them softer and more realistic.
Step 12
You can leave the drawing in pencil or paint with paints. The drawing is ready.
