Make a snowman that won't melt at home? Easily! It is enough to stock up on threads, a creative mood, and a charming snowman made of pompons will decorate any Christmas tree and home.
It is necessary
- - acrylic threads
- - cardboard
- - compass
- - felt
- - decor (beads, rhinestones, twigs, etc.)
- - glue
Instructions
Step 1
Get all the materials you need and make templates for the 3 pom poms.
To do this, take a piece of cardboard and cut out three circles, the first with a diameter of 8 cm, the second - 6 cm, and the third - 4 cm. Duplicate each circle for a total of 6 templates. In the center of each circle, cut another circle with a diameter of 1.5 cm.
Step 2
Join circles of the same diameter and make a cut. You will get a half-ring on which you need to wind the threads. The denser the thread is wound, the more magnificent and voluminous the pompom will turn out.
Step 3
After the thread is wound as tightly as possible, take scissors and cut the threads from the outside of the ring.
Step 4
Next, thread a 20 cm thread between the cardboard and pull it into a knot. You will get a lush pom-pom, which will become the base of the snowman.
Step 5
Do the same for the smaller stencils. As a result, you get 3 pom-poms of different sizes. Connect them together with glue or threads.
Step 6
Cut out a triangle out of orange felt that will become the snowman's carrot nose. Fold it in a bag and glue it.
Step 7
Glue the eyes and nose to the snowman. Put on an adorable hat, scarf and that's it - your homemade pom-pom snowman is ready.
