A homemade rocket is an original toy that you can make at any time with your own hands from scrap materials. There are different ways to make a toy rocket, and you can choose the one that suits you - some of these methods are simple, and some require additional time for various improvements to the rocket.

Step 1
The easiest way to make a rocket is from thick paper, PVA glue and scotch tape. Roll a sheet of paper into a tube about 2 cm in diameter. Lubricate the last turn of the tube with PVA glue and glue it, and then cover the end of the tube with tape.
Step 2
Take the second sheet of paper and roll a second tube out of it, the diameter of which should be slightly larger than the diameter of the first tube - to do this, wind a couple of layers of paper around the already made tube. Glue the rocket body by coloring it with felt-tip pens or colored pencils.
Step 3
Draw the portholes. From a separate sheet of paper, cut a semicircle and glue it into a cone, and then glue it tightly on the nose of the rocket body. Glue eight paper stabilizers to the surface of the rocket. Slip the rocket body onto the launcher and blow with all your might into the hole covered with tape. The rocket will fly.
Step 4
You can upgrade the launcher by using an air mattress pump instead of a paper tube. If the pump nozzle does not fit the paper rocket, adapt a plastic or cardboard tube of the correct diameter to the pump. Launch the rocket by pressing firmly on the pump and directing the trajectory of the rocket using the nozzle.
Step 5
Also, a rocket can be made using a more complex method, but its advantage is that the rocket will be launched with much more force than from the pump, and you will use a remote launch to launch. Make the rocket body itself according to the same principle that was described above, and pay the main attention to the manufacture of the launcher.
Step 6
Take a plywood box 30x30x40 cm and drill two holes in it. Insert a piece of PVC tubing with a diameter of 16 to 25 mm into one hole, and insert a small plug into the other hole, which will indicate the pressure in the starting system.
Step 7
Attach a balloon to the hole of the plastic tube and wrap the tip tightly with threads. Fit the hose fitting that you can take from the tonometer into the tube. Use a bulb to blow air into the balloon, then open the ball valve to release the air from the balloon and launch the rocket.
