It is necessary

  • - thick fabric 130x30 cm;
  • - 2 more pieces of fabric 25x35 cm;
  • - 2 m slings;
  • - 30 cm inlay for edging;
  • - plywood 30x25;
  • - 4 carbines;
  • - threads;
  • - a needle;
  • - tape measure;
  • - scissors;
  • - lighter.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, take the plywood, position it widthwise on a large piece of heavy fabric, wrap it once and sew on the opposite side of the fold.

Step 2

Sew the end of a long piece of fabric to this fold of fabric. Thus, you get the basis for a hammock house, where the plywood part is the floor, and the dense fabric is the walls and ceiling.

Step 3

Cut the lanyard into two equal pieces and use a lighter to process the edges so that they do not crumble.

Step 4

Sew the slings from the inside of the house to the ceiling. To do this, first lay the hammock base with the floor down and find the middle of the plywood-free fabric by folding it in half in a triangle over the plywood part. This will be the middle of the ceiling. Step back from it to the right at a distance equal to half the width of the plywood. This will be the right side of the ceiling where the sling should be sewn. Do the same with the left side. As a result, you will have a hammock house without two walls, but with pendants.

Step 5

Then sew two pieces of fabric on the sides of the house to make a cube. You can use jeans, they are durable and look very attractive. Pieces from old trousers or a skirt will do.

Step 6

Now, on two adjacent sides of the hammock house, make entrances by cutting holes in the walls from the fabric. To keep each entrance straight, place an old CD or DVD on a cloth, trace with a pencil, and cut out a circle slightly smaller than the one you have drawn with scissors. This will give the passages the optimum size.

Step 7

Baste the tape with a small seam along the contour of the entrances so that they look neat and do not fray. Overcast other open seams.

Step 8

Tie the carabiners in knots at the ends of the lines so that the height of the hammock can be adjusted.

Step 9

The hammock for the guinea pig is ready. Hang it in the cage and be sure to adjust the height.
