It is necessary

  • - colored cardboard;
  • - colored paper;
  • - PVA glue or paste;
  • - scissors;
  • - pencil.

Instructions

Step 1

Try making a tree out of thick cardboard. Fold the leaf in half lengthwise and draw half of your tree on a brown piece of cardboard; it can be either a spruce tree, a deciduous tree, or a palm tree (with two leaves sticking out).

Step 2

Try to draw it so that the trunk expands towards the ground (this will make the tree more stable). Cut out - this will be the template. Check it should be symmetrical.

Step 3

Attach the template to the next sheet, circle and cut out. Make several of these blanks. Then attach the blank to a sheet of green paper (you can take cardboard or ordinary thin paper) and circle only the part that should be green, that is, the crown. Cut out the same number of green blanks.

Step 4

Glue the green crown onto brown cardboard backings. You have got several identical trees. Fold each in half, facing inward, along the trunk and crown.

Step 5

Take PVA glue or paste and apply it with a brush to half of the first piece. Attach half of another tree to it, trying to accurately align the edge. Press down on the bent halves and wait for the glue to set a little.

Step 6

Spread glue on the wrong side of the glued blank and attach the third tree. Press down again and wait for it to set. Thus, glue all the blanks one by one. Place the future paper tree under a press (for example, under a book) and wait for it to dry.

Step 7

Take out and unfold - you have a voluminous paper tree. It remains only to glue the first and last halves together. If you have done everything correctly, it will stand firmly on a level surface.

Step 8

Additionally, you can decorate a paper tree - glue circles of colored paper on the tree, hang tinsel. Cut and glue round apples or flowers onto a deciduous tree.
