A functional and original tree will become an excellent "storage" of decorations and will not only take up little space, but also decorate the interior of the room. An unusual stand in the form of a hand model will also not be left without the attention of others.
It is necessary
- For a tree:
- - thick cardboard;
- - pencil;
- - scotch tape (glue);
- - hole puncher;
- - scissors;
- - acrylic paint;
- For the hand model:
- - 1 kg of gypsum;
- - thick rubber gloves (smallest size);
- - wooden board measuring 20 x 30 cm;
- - pencil;
- - drill (hand saw);
- - sanding paper;
Instructions
Step 1
To make a wood stand: draw wood patterns on cardboard.
Cut out the blanks, make holes in them in the necessary places and slots with a hole punch, with a width equal to the thickness of the cardboard.
Step 2
Assemble the jewelry stand: by inserting one part of the structure into another. Paint the tree with acrylic paint.
When the paint dries, secure the top of the tree with tape or a drop of glue to make the structure stable.
Hang decorations on the finished tree.
Step 3
To make a model of a hand, it is necessary, having measured the diameter of the glove wrist, draw a circle with the same diameter on the board. Make a hole in a circle with a drill and hand saw, smooth out any irregularities with sanding paper.
Place the glove in the hole, securing the edges with a construction stapler.
After mixing water and gypsum until the consistency of sour cream, gently fill the glove with the mixture so that no bubbles remain in the area of the fingers. Leave to harden for 48 hours.
Step 4
Free the structure from the glove by making several cuts on it.
Hang decorations on the finished stand.
