Step 1
Prepare the dough. Mix flour and salt, taking 200 g of each ingredient. Then take 100 ml of water and, gradually adding it to the salt and flour, knead the modeling mass. It should be smooth, elastic and not sticky.
Step 2
Use your finger to poke a hole in the dough and pour in orange tempera or thickly diluted gouache to give the mass the color of a tiger's skin. Stir until smooth. Place the dough in the cold for a couple of hours.
Step 3
Form a roll of foil and wrap it in a thinly rolled piece of dyed dough. Try to keep the foil completely covered on all sides. Insert a toothpick into one end of your torso. Its tip should remain sticking out.
Step 4
Form an oval for the tiger's head and place it on a toothpick inserted into the body. Pre-run at the junction with a brush dipped in water. So the parts from the dough will connect to each other more firmly.
Step 5
Shape the ears out of small pieces of dough. After wetting the bases with water, attach the ears to the head. Use beads for the eyes. First, make holes with a toothpick, and then place the beads in them, also moistened with water.
Step 6
Roll five rollers out of the dough. Form paws and a tail out of them and attach to the body. If you are sculpting a tiger that will stand, then use foil rollers as a base for the legs. To keep your legs on your torso and stand firmly, use toothpicks as attachments, as is the case with your head. Make a mustache out of thin wire.
Step 7
Heat the oven to 200 degrees. After turning it off, immediately place the molded figure inside. After the oven has cooled down, remove the tiger. Heat the cabinet again and repeat the entire process. Do this until the tiger figurine is dry.
Step 8
Draw black stripes on the animal's body. After the paint has dried, cover the figurine with varnish.
