Instructions

Step 1

Method for a round neckline

Cut out the piping for finishing the neckline strictly according to its shape, 4-5 cm wide. In the facing, the direction of the threads must necessarily coincide with the directions of the threads on the back and the shelf. Sew the cut out piping by joining the shoulder sections together.

Step 2

Iron the seam seams. Process the piping cuts, while tucking them in 0.5 cm. Place the piping on the front side of the neckline with the right side, connecting the piping seams with the shoulder seams of the model and the middle of the back with the middle of the piping.

Step 3

Baste the piping, retreating from the edge of the neckline by about 0.7 cm. Then baste the piping along the cut line on both sides, stitch it in and then cut it without breaking the seam. Cut seam allowances along the neckline in several places without reaching the seam.

Step 4

Unscrew the piping to the wrong side, sweep the edge over the piping and press iron on. Secure the shoulder seams with blindstitch stitches with matching thread in several places. Remove the thread of the basting and iron on the piping side.

Step 5

Method for V-neck

Cut out the piping for the neckline of the back and two hem for the V-neck of the right and left shelves. Reinforce the corner of the cutout on the edge with additional double-coat or adhesive interlining. Sew the back seam and hem along the shoulder edges, then press the seams.

Step 6

Process the outer cuts of the hem and zigzag overlays or turn it up by 0.5 cm. Place the part prepared in this way with the front side on the front side of the product model and stitch it, retreating from the cuts 0.7 cm.

Step 7

Unscrew the hem to the wrong side, sweep around the edge of the cutout and press. Remove the basting or stitch along the cut line (along the hemline) from the front side, retreating 0.5 cm from the joint seam.

Step 8

Method for square neckline

Cut out two pieces 4-5 cm wide in accordance with the neckline: the trim for the shelf and the trim for the back. Duplicate with adhesive interlining, giving the piping cutout a sharper shape. Sew the shoulder seams, iron the seams, and finish the outer seams.

Step 9

Put the finished facing on the front side of the product, connect its shoulder seams and facing, sweep along the neckline, stitch, retreating from the inner sections of 0.7 cm. Cut the corners, departing from the seam by 0.2 cm.

Step 10

Unscrew the piping inside out, sweep around the neckline and press. Use blind stitches to secure the piping to the shoulder seams and remove the basting.
