Today the Castmaster is used by fishermen all over the world, but this spoon is especially popular in the countries of Europe and America. Russian fishermen also have this metal tackle in their arsenal, but not everyone knows the art of correct fishing on Castmaster.

Description of spinner Castmaster

At first glance, the Castmaster lure has a very unremarkable shape in the form of a flattened metal cylinder and a tee mounted to the winding ring. However, there is still some kind of mystery in the form of a tackle, since numerous attempts by domestic craftsmen to do the same, alas, were not crowned with success.

In its standard version, Castmaster has a silver color and sizes: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35 g. Sometimes multi-colored lures of this unique type appear on sale, but, as a rule, they are not very popular among fishermen. By the way, if the weight of the purchased spinner does not meet the standards listed above, then there is a high probability that this is nothing more than a skillful fake.

Due to its shape in the form of such a flat, weighty pebble, the Castmaster is very convenient for long casting. This artificial bait is easy enough to put in a certain, even the narrowest corridor between snags or in thickets of reeds. Perhaps the only drawback of the Castmaster is that it is very easy to hook him onto some invisible, underwater obstacle.

Therefore, professionals advise taking a special pole with you on a fishing trip, with which you can save the bait.

What kind of fish to go with the Castmaster?

If you plan to catch a predator, you can safely go to the pond, armed with a good spinning rod and a couple of Castmasters, since any predatory fish bite on this type of bait - from the striped robber perch to the elusive asp.

Once you see how this bait behaves in the water, it becomes quite clear why the fish reacts so strongly to it. The castmaster moves very harmoniously in any depths, perfectly imitating a small fish - a favorite delicacy of predators. It is interesting that with slow wiring, the lure rises closer to the surface, and with an increase in the number of revolutions of the reel, it smoothly goes into depth.

It is important to know that the Castmaster lure is quite expensive compared to other lures, but it pays off very quickly due to good catches. You should not buy a cheap, Chinese Castmaster, as it is most likely a fake and its use will not bring the desired result on fishing.
