Santa Claus loves winter, therefore his dwelling is located among the eternal snows. It is surrounded by glitter of frost, shimmer of the Northern Lights and white fluffy animals. The fairytale character's house can be drawn with wood or ice bricks.
It is necessary
- - colored paper of blue shades;
- - crayons;
- - gouache.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to depict Santa Claus's ice hut, take a sheet of paper in blue, dark blue or black. It is against a dark background that white snow looks spectacular. Use colored pastel crayons and gouache paint to paint.
Step 2
As always, in drawing, you need to start by creating a sketch of the picture. Decide if you will be portraying Santa Claus himself and any other characters. If they are present, allocate space for each figure, create a composition. The house can stand behind the characters or from the side so that it can be better seen.
Step 3
For inspiration, remember the words "ice ceiling", "frost everywhere", "blue-blue park". This is a very imaginative song and the image of this cozy hut immediately arises in my head.
Step 4
The house of Santa Claus should be fabulous and fantasy, so make it the shape you think is suitable for this building. Outline the outline of the hut itself, the roof and the porch. Don't draw a chimney on the roof, because Santa Claus doesn't need a stove. The windows can be made round, tightened with ornate patterns.
Step 5
Divide the house with lines into ice bricks and the roof with slippery tiles. Draw the porch beams in the form of large icicles, with picturesque influxes. Don't forget about the snow on the roof and in the porch canopy.
Step 6
Behind the house, paint flashes of aurora borealis and bright stars against the dark sky. Gouache paint is opaque, so it works well for painting on colored paper. Mix several shades of blue paint on the palette to create volume with the help of parts of the ice house.
Step 7
Outline the contour with a darker paint, leaving the protruding parts white. Draw clearly the patterns on the windows with a thin brush, and draw with it separate carved snowflakes lying on the roof and falling from the sky.
Step 8
Draw snowdrifts around the house and a well-worn path from the front porch.
