Instructions
Step 1
Start drawing from the cap. Draw an oval - this will be the edge of Santa Claus's hat. Draw a cap on top.
Step 2
Draw the eyebrows just below the hat. Do not indicate the oval of the face yet. Let your eyebrows be puffy, like clouds. Draw eyes below them. Santa Claus's nose should be large. Draw it as wide, almost equal to the distance between the eyes.
Step 3
The most important attribute of Santa Claus is a lush beard. Frame the character's face with sideburns. From above, they should start exactly opposite the sides of the cap. The bottom edges of the sideburns should come up to the edges of the nose, but not straight, but obliquely. From the same points where the sideburns join the cap, start drawing the beard itself. Do not forget that Santa Claus's beard is curly, with large curls. Just above the edge of your beard, be sure to draw a smile, because Santa Claus is a kind wizard!
Step 4
Mark approximately where Santa Claus's chin is under the beard. At this level draw the neck and then the shoulders. Immediately from the shoulder, draw a hand, or rather, a sleeve of a sheepskin coat. Finish it off with an oval perpendicular to the sleeve. This will be the fluffy finish of the sheepskin coat. Draw a mitten below. With this hand, Santa Claus holds a bag with gifts. Draw it. The bag should be next to Santa Claus on the ground.
Step 5
Draw the second hand of Santa Claus in the same way, only slightly more set aside. In a clenched hand, Santa Claus must hold a staff. The staff is also on the ground. Draw small details and decorations. Draw in the tip.
Step 6
Draw Santa Claus's fur coat. Draw a furry fluffy trim along the bottom of the sheepskin coat. The character's legs are very easy to draw, because he wears felt boots. Make sure that Santa Claus's feet are level with the bag and staff. Draw the trim details on the fur coat: a strip of fur in the middle, a trim of the pockets.
Step 7
Color in the drawing with paints or pencils.
