This question is often heard from children and adults on the eve of the New Year. This is not difficult. Having clear step-by-step instructions with photos, you can easily show your child how to draw Santa Claus, or do it for yourself. All steps are very simple and straightforward - starting with general outlines, you will quickly make a funny drawing.
Instructions
Step 1
Draw a circle and draw a vertical axis through its center. Use a horizontal line to separate the bottom third of the circle.
Step 2
Define the outlines of the cap: draw two arcs with their ends resting on a horizontal line, and above them a third, more curved arc. The contour of the beard also has the shape of an arc, abutting the ends against a horizontal line. Draw it at the bottom of the circle, and then draw a truncated cone under it - this will be a fur coat.
Step 3
Separate the upper quarter of the cone with a line and draw two ovals on the sides - the future sleeves. Under the fur coat below, mark the boots in semicircles.
Step 4
Mark the location of the facial features. At the intersection of the vertical and horizontal lines, draw a semicircle for the nose. Draw an arc over it - the line of the eyes. Mark the eyebrows at the top. Now draw a mustache under the line and draw out the outlines of the eyes, nose and eyebrows.
Step 5
In the ovals of the sleeves, draw round mittens, and above them two rounded squares - gifts that Santa Claus will hold in his hands.
Step 6
Draw a belt on the line between the arms. Then duplicate the bottom and middle lines of the fur coat to define the fur trim.
Step 7
Now erase all construction lines, leaving only the main outlines.
Step 8
Start a detailed drawing of the picture from the face. Draw the irises and pupils of the eyes, refine the nose, draw a mouth under the mustache. "Curl" the contours of the eyebrows and mustache.
Step 9
Now finish the beard by drawing a lot of curls along the contour and inside.
Step 10
Draw bows on the squares of the boxes. Make the lines of the fur trim wavy. Then you can decorate the fur coat, hat and mittens with snowflakes and, if you wish, tint some areas of the picture a little.
