Lego constructors are produced by the Danish company of the same name using a technique patented in 1958. The basis of each set consists of plastic parts of various sizes, which are securely attached to each other using pins. Additionally, figures of people, animals and many game details (chests, gold coins, trees, flags, etc.) are attached. Lego sets are produced in whole series, often based on popular books and films: "Harry Potter", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Prince of Persia", etc. However, Lego City models are the most and well-deserved popularity.
Instructions
Step 1
Get your first Lego City. In the city series there are sets for creating various playgrounds: fire department, police station, pier, railway station, airport and even a cosmodrome. The combination of thematic elements gives a wide scope for creativity. You can build a real "dream city", decorate it and populate it with various characters.
Step 2
To get started, choose a model with a small amount of details and be sure to suit your child's age. Most Lego City bricks are designed for children over 4-5 years old. It is necessary to follow the age recommendations so that the child can build most of the city on his own.
Step 3
Assemble the game model according to the instructions. Each Lego box contains a colorful manual. It shows the stages of work and the details required for them. All recommendations are given in the form of pictures, not text. By strictly following the instructions, you can easily build a toy.
Step 4
To create a small settlement, you will need several game sets. Come up with the direction of development and the sequence of building the city yourself. For example, you want to build a seaside village. Collect the harbor first. Place 1-2 boats and a fishing boat in it. Then build auxiliary services: police and fire brigade. Later, lay a railway to the village.
Step 5
When the toy is completely mastered and loses the charm of novelty, try yourself as an architect. Bricks can be used to assemble buildings, elements and structures that are not provided for in the Lego instructions. And here endless prospects open up for your imagination.
Step 6
Draw a plan of the future city on a piece of paper: mark its center, outline a park area, provide roads and other necessary elements. Your personal Lego City can be either a very real district center, or a fairytale castle or an alien metropolis.
Step 7
Pick up the parts from which you will build city buildings. Use all the kits you have, because they are perfectly combined with each other both in the assembly method and in aesthetic design.
Step 8
At the base of each city block, place the largest rectangular or square piece. These platforms are available in many kits and are sold separately. Place bricks on the base consistently, building buildings in accordance with your taste.
Step 9
Connect neighborhoods with crossings, bridges, or railroad tracks. Complete your cityscape with trees, flowers, cars, people, and any other lego figures you have. Assign roles, create a story, and play with the whole family.
