"City 312" is a group created in 2001 in the city of Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), performing music in the style of pop-rock. The band gained popularity in Russia in 2006 after the release of the song "Stay", which became the soundtrack to Timur Bekmambetov's film "Day Watch".

History of the group "City 312"

The team was created in the fall of 2001. At first, the musicians wanted to name their group "Mangra", but changed their minds and took the telephone code of their hometown of Bishkek - 312 as the name.

At first, the group consisted of four people, but after the musicians moved to the capital, the guitarist left the band. His place was taken by the guitarist Maria. For the entire period of existence of the group "City 312" several drummers have changed in it. Former musicians who played drums were: Viktor Golovanov, Sergei Kovtun, Igor Javad-Zade (the most famous musician, was a drummer in the groups "Nautilus Pompilius", "A-Studio", and the singer Zemfira).

Fame came to the group when in 2005 the musicians released their debut disc entitled "213 Roads" at their own expense. At the end of the same year, Gorod 312 signed a contract with Real-Records. The collective is produced by Andrey Borisovich Lukinov.

First popularity

The musicians became real celebrities in Russia in early 2006 after the release of the video clip for the song "Stay", which became the main soundtrack to the film "Day Watch". The composition was nominated for "Best Soundtrack of the Year" on the MTV Russia TV channel. A little later, the second hit "Out of the Access Zone" was released, which became the soundtrack for the film "Peter FM".

At the end of 2006, the group's second disc, entitled "Out of the Access Zone", was released, eight songs from it had already sounded in the first album of the group, but were re-recorded in a professional studio and with the participation of invited famous musicians. These musicians were: guitarists Nikolai Devlet-Kildeev (Moralny Kodeks group) and Alexander Astashenok (Korni group), drummers Oleg Pungin (Mumiy Troll), Ivan Vasyukov (Korni) and Igor Javad-Zade. The most popular composition of this album was the song "Lanterns".

Movie soundtracks

In addition to the soundtracks mentioned above, the band has other movie soundtracks.

The most popular ones are:

  • composition "Turn around" was included in the soundtrack to the film "Irony of Fate. Continuation"
  • the songs "The Girl Who Wanted Happiness", "213 Roads" and "Risk Group" were performed in the film "Waiting for a Miracle"
  • the tracks "Yesterday" and "31.12" were included in the soundtrack to the movie "Tariff New Year"
  • the composition "City-Dawn" sounds in the picture "Heat"
  • the song "There is little time left" sounded in the film "Life Ahead"

Group composition, photos, surnames

Nazarenko Svetlana Anatolyevna, stage name "Aya", vocalist of the group "City 312". She was born in the city of Bishkek on October 17, 1970.

Svetlana started singing since childhood. At the age of seven, she was already a soloist of the Bolshoi Children's Choir. After performing at one of the republican competitions, Sveta was invited to the studio of the best vocal teacher in Kyrgyzstan, Rafail Sarlykov. Then she became one of the soloists of his "Araket" ensemble. The repertoire of this ensemble included songs of the peoples of the USSR, France, Germany, Spain, Latin America. The "Araket" ensemble was awarded the honorary title of the people's collective of Kyrgyzstan, and it is also the owner of many awards and prizes.

Soon, the young singer begins a solo career. She travels throughout the CIS with various groups, participates in music competitions and events. Thus, Svetlana becomes a popular person in Bishkek, but she understands that in order to fully realize her musical potential, she needs to go to Moscow. Then the singer decides to gather her musical group in order to go to conquer the capital. Sveta chooses two talented musicians from Kyrgyzstan: brothers Dmitry and Leonid.

Ileeva Maria Erlisovna, guitarist of the Gorod 312 band.

She was born in the city of Bishkek. Since childhood, Masha dreamed of dancing. Maria studied rhythmic gymnastics, ballroom dancing, shaping and aerobics. But as a result, she entered the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and graduated with honors in philology. Then the girl worked as a ballroom dance and shaping teacher. Once she got hold of an old and useless electric guitar. Maria began to learn to play it. This hobby would have remained a common hobby, if not for the group "City 312", which a couple of weeks before its first concert in Moscow, was left without a guitarist.

This fragile girl, with the help of her endurance and perseverance, learned the entire concert program of the group in 14 days. The performance was a great success: Maria played without a single oversight. Now Maria successfully performs in the group "City 312" and is the second half of the keyboard player Dmitry.

Dmitry Vasilyevich Pritula, stage name "Dim", keyboardist and backing vocalist of the group "City 312".

Dmitry was born in the city of Yaroslavl, at the age of 6, his parents sent the boy to a music school in the piano class. After graduating from secondary and musical education, Dmitry entered the music school at the conducting and choral faculty, together with his younger brother Leonid. Then the brothers create a musical group "Ayan", and successfully perform in their native Bishkek for 10 years, until Svetlana invites them to "City 312".

Leonid Vasilievich Pritula, stage name "Leon", bass-guitarist and back-vocalist of the group "Gorod 312".

Was born in the city of Bishkek. Like his older brother, Leonid was fond of music since childhood. Graduated from music school, violin class. Then he entered the music school in the pop department - the bass guitar class. When Leonid was 14 years old, he was engaged in musical creativity already at a professional level - he independently wrote music for songs and was an arranger in the "Ayan" group. Having moved with his brother to Moscow, Leonid continues to realize his talent in music.

Nikonov Leonid Vasilievich, stage name "Nick", drummer and the youngest member of the group. Collaborates with the team "City 312" since 2009.

Leonid was born in the city of Novocheboksarsk. As a child, the boy's family often moved from city to city, since Leonid's father was a military pilot. Lenya graduated from high school in the city of Engels. Then the family moved to the city of Saratov, where the young man studied at the Saratov Regional School of Music in the pop department, in the drums class. Upon completion of his studies, Leonid decides to continue his musical education, but already in the capital. In Moscow, he entered the Maimonides State Classical Academy in the pop department, in the drums class, where he still studies.

Prior to joining the Gorod 312 group, Nick was a member of such groups as the Lev Trofimov Trio, Negativ, Lond Island, Butovsky band, Double Fault and Salvador. At the performance of the group "Salvador" the members of the group "Gorod 312" saw Nick for the first time. Then, when their regular drummer left the "townspeople", they remembered Nick and offered him to take the vacant place.

Ilchuk, Alexander Sergeevich - the second guitarist of the group, has been performing with the Gorod 312 collective since 2010.

Alexander received his musical education at the State Music College of Pop and Jazz Arts in Moscow, and then at the Novosibirsk State Glinka Conservatory. Sasha studied guitar at these musical institutions.

To play with the Gorod 312 collective, Alexander passed the casting. Of the four applicants for the place of the guitarist, the "townspeople" chose Sasha and offered him further cooperation.
