"MBAND" is a Russian pop group that was formed after the television project "I Want to Meladze".
The history of the creation of the group
Television talent shows and auditions provide an opportunity for unknown artists to gain popularity, the love of the public, the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and do what they love. The candidates for "MBAND" managed to pass a serious selection, get to one of these shows and win. In 2014, Konstantin Meladze became the producer of the show "I Want to Meladze" on the NTV channel. Young people from Russia and neighboring countries took part in the casting. The official website of the project reports that in total about ten thousand people participated.
The competition was held in an unusual way: the hall was seated separately by male and female spectators. The women could only see the casting participants, and the men did not see them, but they heard the candidates for the pop group sing. In the second round, the guys themselves choreographed and selected costumes for the performance. Two groups got to the final of the competition, from which the audience chose the winners. Those who passed the selection for the boy band were waiting for the shooting of clips, tours, participation in TV shows and other components of the life of show business stars.
Composition and biographies of participants
Nikita Kiosse
Nikita is much younger than the rest of the guys in the group. At the time of the formation of the composition, he was only sixteen years old. Nikita was born in a small town in Ryazan. The boy's parents had nothing to do with show business. Mother worked in the hospital, and dad was a football player. From early childhood Nikita was interested in vocals and dancing.
The boy's mother sent him to get the skills of an artist at a local musical theater. At first, Nikita did not study very willingly, but then he was eager to become a professional musician. Soon he already took part in his first international creative competition for children called "Sunny Bunny". In 2012, Nikita sang a duet with the famous personality Svetlana Svetikova.
At the age of 12, Nikita has already played on the stage of the Moscow Operetta Theater in the musical "Count-Monte-Cristo". The young artist devoted so much time to music that he had to finish school as an external student. After school, Nikita entered the college of Oleg Tabakov.
In the summer of 2012, Nikita took fourth place in the national Ukrainian selection for Junior Eurovision, singing a song in Ukrainian. Although he did not pass the selection, this performance played an important role in the boy's life. He was noticed by Kiev producers and he went to study at a large production center in Kiev. Thanks to this, the soloist got as a participant in the "Children's New Wave" competition in Yalta.
Artem Pindyura
Artem was born in Kiev in 1990 and moved to the capital of Russia at the age of 22. Artem had no education as a musician, he graduated from a school with an in-depth study of the Ukrainian language, but dreamed of becoming an artist. At first, the guy had to work as a bartender. He invested all the profits in the development of his musical career: he recorded hip-hop songs and shot amateur videos on them. At an independent stage of creativity, Artem had a stage name - Kid. Unfortunately, independent creative activity did not bring wide popularity to the musician. In addition to music, Artem has been fond of sports since childhood and is in excellent physical shape, which can be seen at any of his photo sessions. Artem's height is only 179 centimeters.
Artyom has a rich past in terms of his personal life. He had a wife and a child with her. But the couple ended the relationship and ended the marriage.
Anatoly Tsoi
The oldest member of the group. Anatoly is from Kazakhstan. Parents supported their son's hobbies for music and sent him to a music school. As a teenager, he earned money by singing at corporate parties and other private celebrations. The first group in which the singer participated was called "MKD". With this group, Anatoly entered the world of show business, participating in many music competitions and took the honorable third place at the World Delphic Games.
At the age of 18, Anatoly went to an analogue of the show People's Artist in Kazakhstan. There he reached the final, where he performed a cover of the group "Umaturman".
Anatoly stubbornly continued to achieve his goals. Three years after his success on a television show, Anatoly, as part of his new group "National", took part in the "X-Factor" contest of artists, but the audience did not appreciate his talent.
Anatoly's life was influenced by the vocalist of the A-Studio group, whose name is Batyrkhan Shukenov: he persuaded the guy to move to Moscow. Anatoly was selected for three musical television shows at once: Voice, Artist and I Want to Meladze. The choice of the musician fell on the latter option.
Vladislav Ramm
Vladislav did not hold out in the group for very long, he left the team after a year. The guy was born in the city of Kemerovo. Vladislav has a musical education. He graduated from music school as a pianist. This is not surprising, because there were musicians among his family. Vladislav's mother worked as a singer in a musical theater. The decision to leave the group was made by him. After this information appeared on his social media account, his fans were shocked and upset. Konstantin Meladze claims that the singer left the group because he did not show himself well enough. The producer did not want to terminate the contract, according to which Vladislav cannot start working on his own. Despite the scandals with the former mentor, Vladislav released his album in 2016. The artist continued to study music with Yana Rudkovskaya. In 2018, the musician released another solo album.
Creativity of the group
The band's first track, titled She Will Come Back, was released back in the final of the competition. The music was written by the producer himself, and the lyrics were composed by Artem Pindyura. The video for this song on the YouTube video hosting has gained about ten million views in six months. The video for the song Look at me was released in the summer of 2015. In the video you can see the famous singer Nyusha.
In 2015, the musicians went on a large-scale tour with concerts. Fans of TV shows all over the country dreamed of seeing their idols and singing long-learned songs with the whole audience. But despite the frequent concerts, the group managed to work on new songs. Young singers give concerts, manage to work on new songs and their debut album. The gang is making a real breakthrough of the year. The guys played their first solo concert in a Moscow club. It was broadcast on the STS Love TV channel.
Next year the group will release two full-length albums at once with the names "Without filter" and "Acoustics".
Songs recorded in 2017 take places in the charts on music TV channels, radio stations and, of course, are distributed on social networks.
Artists are also active today. In 2018, another track of the group called "Thread" was released.
Filming in films and television projects
"MBAND" in 2016 played themselves in a motion picture called Fix It All.
The group has appeared on several reality shows. In 2016, the TV show "Bride for MBAND" was released on the federal TV channel STS. In it, the girls who passed the selection at large-scale auditions came to Moscow to compete for the love of the group members. The girls showed themselves as housewives, interesting interlocutors, and creative personalities.
In 2017, the musicians tried themselves in the roles of mentors in the competition of young artists on the TV show "Battle of Talents" on the "Muz-TV" channel.
In February 2018, the STS Love channel hosted another show for couples in love, "Sarankhe". The program was hosted by Anatoly Tsoi.
