That is why some mothers try to sew baby clothes on their own, giving them a personality that would distinguish her child from others. Let's analyze the method of sewing overalls for a child 1, 5-2 years old.
Instructions
Step 1
First, choose a fabric for your jumpsuit. Remember that jumpsuits for babies are best made from cotton fabric. You can also use denim, but it should be soft and thin.
Step 2
Take measurements from the child and build patterns. When cutting out the details of the products, do not forget about the allowances for the seams: along the side and shoulder seams - 2 cm; along the lines of the bottom of the skirt and bodice - 3 cm; along the lines of the armhole, neck, processing of double parts - 0.7 cm; along the line of joining parts - 1.5 cm.
Step 3
Finish the edges of all parts, then sweep them.
Step 4
Treat pockets. Connect the side pieces to the front halves.
Step 5
Prepare the collar and grind off the side seams. Sew the collar into the neckline. Sew in the zipper.
Step 6
Sew the side seams, crotch seams, seat seam, then part of the seat seam on the front half.
Step 7
Stitch the elastic band around your waist.
Step 8
Sew in the sleeves, hem the bottom of the jumpsuit.
