Step 1
First, you need to know what each line on the origami diagram stands for. A) The dotted line on the origami diagram means the line that folds towards itself. The figure should be bent back along it. As a result, the fold remains outside. It must pass from the very beginning to the end of the cut. E) A line consisting of points is called "imaginary". You don't need to bend the figure or make a cut along it. You should only be guided by it.
Step 2
Secondly, you should understand the meanings of the arrows on the origami diagrams. A) An ordinary arrow on the origami diagram means that the figure should be bent towards itself along the "valley" line. b) A curved arrow shows that the figure should be bent away from itself along the "mountain" line. In the origami diagram, these arrows are always indicated next to the lines themselves.
Step 3
a) Double arrow means that the figure should be bent with a "valley", i.e. bend and immediately bend back. b) A double curved arrow indicates that the figure should be bent along the mountain line.

When the arrow shows not one, but several dashes, the actions are repeated as many times as there are dashes on the arrow.

If the curled arrow is drawn next to the shape, rather than next to the line, it indicates that the shape should be flipped to the other side.
Step 7
Arrows "cycle" or "half of the cycle" indicate that the paper figure needs to be rotated 90? Or 180? in the same plane.
Step 8
A wide arrow indicates that a part of the figure needs to be extended or pulled from the inside or from the other side.
Step 9
Zipper folds indicate alternating mountain and valley folds.
Step 10
Double folds-zippers are performed mainly on paper folded in half.

A wide arrow with a bifurcated end on the origami diagram means that on a paper figure, you should first open and then flatten out some kind of an existing "pocket".

Two arrows pointing in different directions from the figure indicate that some part of it should be bent, i.e. turn the wrong side out.

The small triangular arrow in the origami diagram indicates that part of the shape should be bent inward.

Arrows drawn around the shape in the origami diagram indicate that some of the shape's planes should be reversed.
