Curtain holders allow you to quickly transform your interior. Curtains intercepted in the middle or just below will make the room more comfortable. Beautiful holders can become a unique decorative element that attracts guests' attention. It is especially pleasant for the hostess if she made the tacks for the curtains on her own.

It is necessary

computer disks (used, 2 pcs); - medium width satin ribbon; - fittings for finishing; - scissors; - paper; - marker; - transparent glue; - compasses - pencils or wooden sticks

Instructions

Step 1

Determine what size your curtain holders will be. Take a computer disk, put it on a piece of paper and trace along the contour. Insert a pair of compasses into the center circle and draw a circle separating the outer edge of the layout from the rest. Cut out the mold and attach it to the disc.

Step 2

Using a permanent marker, draw the required line. Moving from the center in it, cut out the base of the future curtain holder. Repeat the procedure with the second disc. You should have two wide rings.

Step 3

Take the prepared satin ribbon. Apply a drop of clear glue to the disc. Apply the edge of the tape and wait a couple of minutes for the elements to firmly seize. In this case, it is better to place the atlas at a slight slope, because this will facilitate further work.

Step 4

When the glue is dry, start wrapping the base ring. Try to keep the tape evenly: this will make the product look more neat. It is best if each new turn covers the previous one by about 1/3. In the process of work, you can sometimes use glue - for reliability. When the ring is completely wrapped, do not stop right at the beginning: finish the job by making two additional turns. Secure the edge with glue and cut off the rest of the tape. Repeat the process with the second disc.

Step 5

In principle, you can already use the product for its intended purpose. However, to make the curtain holders more original, use various decorative elements. For example, you can decorate only ½ part of the product (preferably the bottom one) by sticking ready-made fabric or paper flowers on it. Or completely decorate the clasp by trimming it with beads, sequins, rhinestones or bugles.

Step 6

Use wooden sticks, old long pencils, or any other element to hold the holder (for example, Japanese chopsticks are great). You can also decorate them: wrap floss, colored threads or thin ribbons. Or just cover them with varnish / stain.
