If the clutter on your desktop forces you to search for a pen lost among the papers every time, then every day a lot of precious time is spent on such searches. A pen holder helps you save time by storing all your writing instruments in one place and keeping your desk tidy. This stand can be made in minutes using unnecessary beverage packaging.
It is necessary
- - plastic bottles of different diameters, textures and colors
- - awl
- - electrical tape or a piece of flat rubber tape
- - scissors
- - wire
- - marker for plastic (discs)
Instructions
Step 1
To create a stationery stand, first take a few unnecessary plastic bottles, preferably colored plastic with a ribbed or other uneven surface. The variety of bottles is necessary so that a stand made of such material is not boring. Heat the awl over the fire and pierce one of the bottles so that the bottom, separated by the puncture from the top, has a height that would be about 2/3 the length of a pen or pencil.
Step 2
Cut off the top of the bottle with scissors. The lower part will be the base of the stationery compartment.
Step 3
Cover the cut of the bottle with duct tape or a piece of rubber tape so that it cannot be scratched on it.
Step 4
Make a few more cups from bottles of different diameters. Cut all the lower parts of the bottles in the same height. Cover the cut cups with duct tape or rubber strips.
Step 5
Measure the middle height on each cup and mark with a marker. Heat the awl over the fire and make two punctures in each glass at the same height at a distance of several centimeters. These punctures will help to connect the parts of the bottles into one stand.
Step 6
Pull the wire through the holes in the bottoms of the bottles so that the wire ring in the center of the structure forms a circle and the plastic cups are threaded onto it. Now fill the bays of the resulting stand with office supplies. Choose a cup of the appropriate diameter for the items of the appropriate size.
Step 7
If you wish, you can change the location and size of the plastic cups in the stand. You can fix several narrow branches around one wide one (from above they resemble the shape of a flower); connect departments of different heights in the form of steps; arrange several identical compartments in one row.
