A digital camera is such a familiar thing for a modern person. With the development of photographic technology, the art of photographing also develops in people. How do you learn to take such photographs so that looking at them will take your breath away? Or, at least, so that people like them?
Instructions
Step 1
Take pictures more often. Practice is very important. Don't take breaks, because skills are lost much faster than they are acquired. Capture any beautiful things and events on film.
Step 2
Do not hurry. You should not thoughtlessly press the shutter button, because such thoughtless photographs will not add to your skill. Stop before taking an interesting shot. Think, maybe it can be made even more interesting by changing the angle of view, moving the camera closer or further away from the subject. After experimenting, take a shot.
Step 3
Understand that photography is an art too. Before photographing, listen to your emotions. Get the right shot to convey all your impression of the future shot. After all, the same object, shot from different angles and from different distances, can cause completely different emotions in the person looking at the photograph.
Step 4
Feel free to follow the pros and learn skills. The time will come - you will "acquire" useful skills and your own tricks. And if you liked some someone else's photo, do not hesitate to repeat it. Maybe you can do better. And if the picture does not work, you can always analyze what you did wrong.
Step 5
Materialize your photos. Which means you should print them in large formats too. You can immediately see minor flaws in a large photo and work on the mistakes. And your friends, looking at a live photo with a fresh eye, will also be able to point out mistakes and rate the photo.
Step 6
Participate in exhibitions and competitions more often. You shouldn't bury your talent in the ground. And besides that, you should look at other photographers - this is useful. Strive to take the best photos, because competition increases the desire for perfection. And don't be afraid of criticism. But look for it wisely. Show your still unprofessional shots to people around your level or slightly above. You will be really helped with advice, while a professional photographer would have limited himself to a couple of phrases like "not bad" or "okay for a start."
Step 7
And the last piece of advice: do not get carried away by something that is too early for you to get carried away. Many capable people immediately try to get themselves professional cameras, fashionable lenses and other "gadgets", but in the end they are disappointed, having spent a lot of money and not getting the desired result. You need to know how to handle professional equipment. So take your time with it, improve.
