Leonid Yarmolnik is a wonderful theater and film actor, presenter, showman and producer. He is a laureate of the State Prize of Russia and twice laureate of the Nika Prize. Yarmolnik is known to the viewer for his roles in the films "The Same Munchausen", "The Man from Boulevard des Capucines", "Heads and Tails".
Career in cinema and theater
Leonid Yarmolnik graduated from the theater school named after Shchukin B. V. in 1976. After graduation, he immediately got a job at the Taganka Theater. The debut on stage took place in 1976 in the play "The Master and Margarita". During these years, he regularly starred in films in episodic roles, which went unappreciated and unnoticed.
Glory came to the actor in 1979, when he appeared in the humorous program "Around Laughter", where he played the pantomime "Chicken Tabaka". After that, proposals from directors fell on Yarmolnik. The first major role of Leonid was the image of the spoiled son of Baron Munchausen in the film "The Same Munchausen". This was followed by the role of the bandit Gnus in Valery Fokin's film "Detective".
The dramatic talent of Leonid Yarmolnik was revealed in the film by director Dmitry Astrakhan "Crossroads" (1998) and in the social drama "Barak" (1999). In the last film, Yarmolnik acted as a producer.

Leonid's wife, Oksana, was engaged in the project of the house; she is a designer, costume designer, makes collectible dolls and toys. In the interior of the rooms you can even find antique furniture of the 19th century, as well as armchairs by modern designers. Additionally, Leonid and Oksana have a luxurious and spacious apartment in Moscow, in which they have not lived for about 10 years. So that the apartment does not stand idle, the family regularly places friends there who fly from America.
