There is nothing better for a boy than to invent and draw his own robot himself and endow it with a bunch of qualities and skills. The creation of such a drawing develops imagination and can serve as an incentive to study the actions of various mechanisms.
It is necessary
A sheet of paper, a simple pencil, an eraser, a sharpener
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the materials you will need for the job. First, draw a rough image of a robot in your head. Already in the process of work, you will add small details to your drawing that you could not think of in advance. Place the sheet of paper vertically or horizontally depending on the shape of your robot. Start sketching with a simple pencil.
Step 2
Outline the main body parts of your robot using geometric shapes. Only then start drawing. Outline the torso with an oval or rectangle and a circle for the head. It is better to draw the limbs for now in the form of lines that will set the direction for the arms and legs. If your robot does not have a body and looks like an octopus, start the drawing with a head. If it looks like a caterpillar or other insect, just indicate the direction of body parts.
Step 3
Get started with easy drawing. At this stage, your robot should acquire its characteristic features. Draw the head that you have in mind - round, elongated (like an Alien) or another shape. Gradually move on to the torso. Mark the armor, the connections of body parts to each other, the mechanisms protruding outward (tubes, wires, gears, etc.). Pay attention to the limbs. There may be several hands. Or maybe your robot has several tentacles instead. Draw from top to bottom. When the base of the drawing is finished, remove the auxiliary and invisible lines with an eraser.
Step 4
Pay attention to detail. Think about the shape of the eyes and the whole face. Draw small details on the body - ribbed tubes (or tentacles), joints of limbs, built-in weapons, claws, antennas, small doors, bulbs, and more. Draw such small details with a well-sharpened pencil. Refine the lines with an eraser.
Step 5
After finishing work, you can circle your drawing with a thin black felt-tip pen or a helium pen of the same color. Do some small shading if you want. To give the robot a metallic sheen, gently rub the shading areas with a piece of paper or the tip of your finger. Wash your hands with soap and water after handling.
