The signature is one of the main, although not the only, criterion for determining the authorship of a painting. There are several ways to sign a canvas. The simplicity or sophisticated irony of the signature depends on the artistic idea of the author and his imagination.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to sign a painting is to simply write out your last name with a thin brush at the end of the work in the corner of the canvas. It is advisable to calculate the position of the signature in such a way that the frame does not cover it. The color of the signature should not contrast strongly with the color of its background, but the letters should not merge or spread (for example, if the paint on the brush is too liquid).
Step 2
Use the symbol of the element, animal or plant with which you associate yourself. Use it instead of one of the letters of your name, preferably a capital letter, putting it in the appropriate position
Step 3
Letters can be composed not just of lines, but of compositional elements. For example, the leaves can be folded into several bouquets in the form of the letters of the name. In this case, the color of the signature should be contrasting to emphasize your imagination.
Step 4
Build your signature from charades and associations. You can imagine an object corresponding to the translation of your name into Russian (Svetlana - light, for example, the sun, Oleg - fire, etc.). These charades are best kept out of the foreground and written in muted tones.
