Method 1

Take a satin ribbon 90 cm long and 6.5 cm wide. You can take a piece of fabric and cut a blank of the required size from it.

The tape is folded in half, the ends must match. The front side should be outside.

Next, proceed with the firmware. Use a needle and thread to sew the tape from the fold (center of the tape) around the entire folded edge. Sew the first few stitches at an angle, then continue to sew to the edge of the fabric.

Now that one edge of the tape has been stitched, thread the adjacent 6.5 cm side. This side is opposite the fold. Now remove the thread from the needle, you do not need to tie a knot.

Pull gently on the end of the thread where the needle just was. You need to "collect" the tape. Focus on the drawing.

From the edge where sewing began, you need to make a twist - fold the fabric inward - you get a bud, whose place is in the center. From the bottom you need to make a few stitches - fasten the bud.

Continue to do such turns, gradually your rose will curl. Try to make each twist as close as possible to the previous one - this is a jewelry work, but the result will be neat, close to natural.

Constantly check how the product looks from above. This way you can quickly detect if something goes wrong with your work.

Now you can shut down. Secure the thread with a few stitches. The ribbon rose is ready!

Method 2

Such a rose can be made from any ribbon or braid. The wider the source material is, the more twists you make, the larger the size of the resulting rose will be.

Pick up the braid or tape horizontally. Fold the right corner as shown in the picture. Then make another turn.

After making two more turns, the middle of the rose will emerge. Use a thread and a needle to sew a few stitches from the bottom - secure the tape. Take out the needle, the thread should be dangling in the air.

Now you need to turn around again. To make the rose look natural, fold the edges back before wrapping them - this is shown in the picture. After a few turns, sew the base of the flower again.

Continue turning, remembering to bend the tape in different directions. At the end of the process, when the braid is finished, sew the base of the rose.

That's all, the rose is ready! Each time the result will be different from what it was before - your subsequent creation will be unique and not like all the previous ones.
