The basic set of a future creator is the ability to take initiative and charge others with ideas, creativity, attentiveness and, of course, the desire to make a good amateur movie. Step 1
Decide on a plot and title. What will it be? Love story or thriller, action or fantasy? Already at the stage of creating the plot, you should sketch out a small plan. In the process of thinking, scenes from the future film will arise, which should be recorded or sketched.
Step 2
The plot, regardless of the genre, should consist of the following scheme: setting, development of events, conflict, culmination, denouement, finale. That is, the viewer from the first shots should form a basic idea of the heroes, but at the same time with a sense of intrigue. The film must have a critical moment, a conflict. Without it, the picture turns out to be somewhat "blurred" in the plot. And, accordingly, the events must have a logical conclusion.

The script of the film must be thought out in detail and scheduled by episodes. The most successful films are those where several people participated in the creation of the plot at once. When discussing the scenario in team mode, it is easier to remove unnecessary things and look at each frame with an open mind. The finished script should be rewritten into a clean version. In the final version, in addition to the scenes, the time and location of filming, props and scenery should be indicated.

The musical accompaniment to the film can be selected both at the stage of creating the script and after the shot. It should reflect the emotional content of the film. Music should be treated carefully: more often than not, it is she who creates the mood in the frame.
Step 5
A selection of actors is made not only in appearance. Conduct conversations with the actors about their characters so that they can better get used to the proposed circumstances. When making an amateur film, keep an eye on the acting. Often nonprofessional actors will laugh nervously when filming, and the best thing during these moments is to calmly wait until the attack is over. If it doesn't go away, it's time to take a break.
Use the rules of professional cinema - actors should not look into the camera. Also, during dialogues, you should arrange the actors in such a way that their spins are not in the frame. The best position - the actor is turned semi-sideways into the camera.
Step 6
When filming scenes, you should require silence and pause after the command "stop, shot!". This will help with installation. If the pause is not respected, many frames may be corrupted.
Step 7
One or two decent-resolution cameras, a good tripod and a couple of lighting fixtures are enough to shoot an amateur film. The scenery and makeup of the actors is already a scope for imagination.
Step 8
Editing the film includes cutting out everything unnecessary, the imposition of special effects (acceleration, deceleration, etc.). Manual shooting always requires more careful processing. Video can be processed using special programs.
Step 9
Finally, remember: it is impossible to make an amateur film without flaws. But the most successful are the paintings, in which more work was initially invested. The less spontaneity there is in the frames, and the more thoughtful each scene is, the more audience sympathy this picture will win.
