Irina met her second husband on the set, while still married to Dvigubsky. The divorce was not formalized, but Nikita and Irina understood that it was impossible to maintain an outdated relationship. The first meeting of Lanovoy and Kupchenko was fateful: sympathy flared up quickly and gradually grew into a deep mutual feeling.
Vasily Lanovoy is the son of immigrants from Ukraine who fled from their homes from hunger. The boy was born in Moscow, but spent a lot of time in the village of Strimba, Odessa region, with his grandparents. Later, the typical Odessa-Ukrainian accent greatly interfered with the young actor, but he managed to hone his speech, acquiring a real old-school pronunciation.
Vasily and his sister survived the war during the occupation, returning to Moscow only after the victory. The fate of the actor was determined by chance - together with a friend, he got into the drama club, successfully played several roles and realized that the stage was his real vocation. Vasily got his first film role thanks to a mug - the negative handsome Listovsky, he first played in an amateur performance, and a year later received an invitation to the set. By that time, Lanovoy had finished school with a gold medal and entered the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. But after the fantastic success in the cinema, he abruptly changed plans, taking the documents and on the first attempt entered the famous Shchukin school.
After graduating from college, Lanovoy received an invitation to the theater. Vakhtangov. He started with small roles, but thanks to his talent, hard work and amazing external data, he quickly moved on to stellar roles. At the same time, his film career developed. Lanovoy's track record includes the main roles in the films How the Steel Was Tempered, Scarlet Sails, War and Peace, Anna Karenina, Days of the Turbins, and Officers.
