The ability of some people to sing beautifully and reproduce unusual melodies with a voice delights and surprises, and at the same time, few people realize that every person can develop a singing talent with due diligence and perseverance. Anyone can learn to sing, and in this case it's not enough for you to just love music - you need to follow a number of rules to train your voice and improve your vocal abilities.
Instructions
Step 1
To work with the voice, first of all, it is important to develop hearing - it is thanks to good hearing that the singer sings beautifully, falling into the right notes. An ear for music develops, it is not always innate, and you can develop it with regular training. The simplest workout is to play sounds in unison with the notes of a piano or guitar.
Step 2
Start with simple exercises - try to accurately reproduce the sound of a particular note made by the piano keys. Then increase the number of notes, gradually expanding the range and making your task more difficult. Move on to the harder exercises after you've mastered the simple ones - when you start getting good at single notes, move on to singing two or three notes in a row.
Step 3
Don't try to hit too high or low a note - try to work in the middle range. Work with high and low notes already when you develop your hearing on simple exercises and learn to identify sounds by ear, as well as repeat them, observing the key.
Step 4
Having developed the technique, start singing in chorus with your favorite performers, whose voice suits you in terms of tonality and range. Try to imitate the vocalist and repeat his vocals with your voice. Sing along by playing a song that you know or have learned on purpose.
Step 5
To train your vocal abilities, it is recommended to regularly record your voice in order to listen to your vocals from the side. This will help you to adequately perceive the way you sing and track any vocal mistakes from the outside. Record your singing on the microphone, and then listen to it several times - watch out for the shortcomings, try to correct them.
Step 6
Develop correct articulation and correct breathing - how correctly and beautifully you sing depends on breathing. Breathing while singing is necessary with the diaphragm and the lower part of the ribs. Try to get rid of shallow breathing and exhale as smoothly as possible. Breathe in vigorously through your nose and exhale slowly so that you have enough air to sing a phrase. Choose good pauses between words to get some air for singing again.
Step 7
To train your articulation skills, read more tongue twisters aloud - they develop diction. Try to pronounce all words clearly, without swallowing the sounds and endings of words. It is not necessary to pronounce tongue twisters quickly - it is more important to pronounce them clearly, since it is the clarity that is important for the performance of various songs.
