Folding the boat often becomes a big problem. But do not panic and shove the boat into the trunk without really folding it, otherwise there is a risk of damaging its surface, and it will not serve you a long service. It only takes a little practice to fold any boat correctly and compactly.
Instructions
Step 1
The boat should be folded in a dry, clean place. Before you start folding it, you need to wash the sides, bottom, and the outside with soapy water to avoid the appearance of unpleasant odors. Dry thoroughly after rinsing. Drying should be carried out in an inflated state so that the moisture evaporates as best as possible, and the fabric does not crack from water.
Step 2
Be sure to check all seams, and, after making sure that there are no pieces of dried dirt, begin the folding procedure. First, you need to release the air. To do this, open the valves and squeeze out the air from the cylinders, using your hands or feet. Evacuate the remaining air using an electric or hand (foot) pump. It is important that all the air is evacuated, otherwise the boat will not fold tightly and will bulge.
Step 3
After deflating all the air, you need to pull on the rails in the bow to flatten the front of the cylinders. Only after the cylinders are aligned, press them against the transom. To prevent the middle part of the cylinders from collecting, it must also be leveled by pulling the rails along the line of the boards towards the bow in the opposite direction from the transom.
Step 4
After that, both deflated sides must be folded inward so that the folded boat is no wider than the transom. Then press down the folded sides with the transom.
Step 5
Next - start folding the boat towards the bow. Fold the bow of the boat under the body.
Step 6
In this form, the hull of the boat is packed in a bag. The rest of the accessories, having previously cleaned from dirt and dried, should be put into another cover.
