In 1931, the first latex balloon was created, a material that allows you to work with the shape and size of products. This opened up ample opportunities for designers who decorate the holidays. They began to make various compositions, figures, even panels from the balls.

Before starting to work with balloons, some professional aero designers apply cream to their hands to make it easier to tie the balloons. Also, in advance, as a warm-up, you can do the following exercise: after drawing air into the lungs, hold it for a while, and then exhale sharply.

Long nails, before starting to work with balloons, should be cut shorter and filed at the corners. This will make you much more comfortable and safer.

To a large extent, the complexity of the process of inflating balloons depends on their shape. So, a round balloon will inflate much easier than an oval one. This is due to physical laws.

After inflating the balloon, release some air from it, this will extend its life cycle. Keep in mind that for a properly inflated balloon, the area near the tail looks like a pear, but not like a round apple. In the second case, the product will not last very long. In order to tie a ball, take it in one hand and clamp the tail with the other so that air does not escape from the product. Pull back the ponytail and wrap it around your fingers, creating a loop, into which then stick it and tighten it tight.

By inflating the balloons with your mouth, keep yourself safe. The product may burst unexpectedly and cause injury to your eyes. It is worth putting on glasses and such a development of events can be avoided.

If you are preparing for the decoration of an event and you need to inflate more than a dozen balloons, while they must be of the same volume, then it is advisable to use special devices for such purposes. The simplest of these is a conventional hand pump. To pump the ball with it, take the product by the ends, stretch it with your fingers, and put the neck on the pump inlet. Hold the balloon firmly with one hand, and use the piston to draw air with the other. You don't need to inflate the balloon too quickly. Leave the ponytail empty so that the ball can be easily twisted. To further accelerate the process, an electric pump-compressor is used.

In aerodesign, there is a trick for making the balls the same size - the calibrator fixture. It is a hole in plastic or cardboard. By placing balloons in it, you can inflate them to the desired size, and then use, for example, to create a garland.

Today, balloons are inflated not only with air, as it was before, but also with a special gas - helium. This substance allows the balloon to float in the air. If, in addition to the usual latex products, you need to inflate foil-clad ones, then it is important to make sure that the helium cylinder has a special nozzle for this, because such balls are provided with a valve. Equipment designed for the professional inflation of balloons usually has a built-in pressure gauge and reducer, which allows you to adjust the pressure and amount of helium injected.

Helium can be purchased in cylinders of various sizes, depending on the number of balloons being inflated.

The gel balloon can fly for a limited amount of time - about 10 hours on average. If, before inflating it, you treat the surface from the inside of the balloon with a special solution of plastic in water (Hi-Float), then the period of its use will significantly increase.
