There are several ways to tie the hook to the forearm - using knots like python and boa constrictor. The reliability can be increased by tying these knots in three loops. A boa constrictor is used in cases where the end of the line is not in the hands.
Step 2
A hook with a ring is tied to the fishing line with a python-type knot. The ends of the line should be located along the forearm. Another name for this knot is 8 in three loops.

If we have a hook with a piece of fishing line, then we tie the fishing lines of the same diameter as follows. Make a double fishing knot and cut the ends short after tightening. Fishing lines with different diameters are tied with a snake. We also cut off the ends of the line. Pay attention to the fact that the running ends of the two lines are carried around the ends of the main lines strictly in one direction. It is important.
Step 4
There is also a knot in two loops: we pass the end of the line twice into the ring of the hook, make two turns on the main line with the same end and thread the second end of the line from the side of the hook into the turns. Next, tighten the knot.

The lure can be tied directly to the fishing line itself, to a steel leash, which is tied to the fishing line and also by a lock or ring.

And in order to reliably tie the jig to the fishing line, we make a conical hole in it with a thick needle, take a round file and remove the burrs. And the file must be sharpened in the form of a perk with the help of emery. Then we thread the line four times into the hole made by the needle from above. It remains for us to overwhelm the line around the base of the hook with 2-3 loops and tighten each of them sequentially.
