If you want to increase the bullet exit speed, and this means to increase the power of the air rifle, you can take, for example, the following steps: - improve the rammer's sealing; - replace the spring with a more powerful one.

Step 1
The factory version of the rammer allows a certain amount of air to pass past the barrel when fired, and when firing, you can even feel the blow from a rifle in the face. Naturally, these losses affect the power of the rifle.
To eliminate the defect, unscrew the bolt screwed into the rammer stop and remove the rammer and the spring from the breech.
Clamp the thin part of the rammer into the drill chuck.
Now, at a distance of 1, 5–2, 0 mm from the beginning of its thick part, use a file or a hacksaw on metal to grind 2-3 grooves with a depth of about 0.5-0.6 mm. Make the distance between them about 2 mm. Please note that with the rammer closed, all grooves must enter the chamber entirely. Insert rubber washers, for example, cut from a car camera, into the grooves. To make them easier to put on the rammer and they glide well, lubricate these rubber rings with oil.
The sharp edges of the breech can cut off the rubber, so pre-process the breech with a round file so that the rammer moves freely in the cylinder. When turning, sawdust can enter the barrel and cylinder. To prevent this, insert a piece of cotton wool from the breech side into the barrel.
After sealing, it may be necessary to replace the standard rammer spring.
Step 2
The power of the air rifle can be increased by replacing the spring. Usually they select the one that is suitable in diameter and length from more advanced and expensive types of pneumatics, or they order the craftsmen to make a spring with specified characteristics. As a rule, in this case, the diameter of the wire is increased. However, if you overdo it, it can lead to the fact that the cuff will break, the piston thrust will deteriorate, and as a result, the accuracy will drop.
Step 3
Use weighted bullets when shooting - this increases both the flight range and the penetrating power of the shot.
Another secret: drip machine oil into the skirt of the bullet. This can be done in advance by preparing several bullets at once in this way. Oil will not spill out even if the bullet is overturned. The firing power will increase due to the greater sealing of the barrel due to the enveloping action of the oil.
