Man has been collecting for a long time. At first it was just the accumulation of useful things, then such accumulations were systematized and divided, they began to be called collections. And people who collect certain items were called collectors. Collecting, collecting medals and orders is called phaleristics and belongs to the category of numismatics.
Instructions
Step 1
Many people are not engaged in collecting, but simply keep the military awards of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers. For the best preservation of orders and medals, they must be properly issued. The easiest way to design can be to make a homemade tablet.
Step 2
Buy a set of chocolates in a box with a clear plastic lid from the store. Determine the size of the box from the number of awards to be placed. You may need several boxes, or one, but large.
Step 3
Open the box. From the set, you will only be interested in the transparent cover. Carefully rinse off all decals from the cover.
Step 4
From a piece of hardboard, cut a rectangle to fit the size of the lid (1-2mm less on all sides).
Take a piece of green or dark green velvet (orders and medals look best on green velvet) and paste over a rectangle of hardboard with Moment glue.
Step 5
Draw straight lines on the velvet with a thin piece of chalk, along which you will place medals and orders.
Take a Velcro (sewing Velcro, consisting of a fleecy part and a part with hooks), cut it into small pieces (2-3 cm) and shoot the fleecy parts of the Velcro pieces with a stapler along the marked line.
Step 6
Put the pieces with hooks on the pins of the orders and attach them to the fleecy part. Orders and medals will be firmly and securely held. They can always be easily removed if necessary.
Step 7
For screw orders and medals, make small holes in the tablet with an awl. Insert the screw of the insignia into the hole, screw on the back of the tablet.
Step 8
Put the transparent lid from the box of chocolates on top of the tablet. Make two holes on the back of the tablet to hang the tablet on the wall.
Step 9
This method of registration of medals and orders allows them to be stored reliably and for a long time without fear of spoiling. You can also quickly and easily view the collection or, conversely, hide it in a closet or safe.
