Packaging is an integral part of a gift that can spoil or improve the overall impression of the presented present. Spending very little time, you can please your loved ones by decorating the gift with an original bow. In addition, decorating skills can be useful in other situations as well.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a formal bow to decorate formal and men's gifts. Take a piece of dense tape that retains its shape well, 20 centimeters long. Connect the ends and glue them. Flatten the resulting ring so that the glued edges are in the middle. To hide the seam, take another piece of tape of the same or contrasting color. Wrap a flattened ring around it and glue the ends together.
Step 2
Take two ribbons of different shades of the same color. Their length should be at least 20 centimeters, but one of the ribbons should be 2 times wider than the other. Connect the ends of the wide tape and glue. Put a narrow tape on top and glue its ends so that the joint is on top of the junction of the ends of the wide tape. With a long ribbon of the same color as the wide one, wrap the workpiece. Tie a knot to cover the glued ends of both ribbons on the workpiece. The loose ends can be used to wrap gift wrapping. If they are not long enough, simply cut them off and glue the bow to the gift.
Step 3
Find three ribbons that differ in color and width. The widest should be 20 centimeters long, the middle 18 centimeters long, and the narrowest 16 centimeters long. Cut the ends of the ribbons to form a V. Make a tiered bow by overlaying the middle one and then the narrowest one over the wide ribbon. Aligning the centers of the bands, secure the workpiece with a paper clip. Tie a long ribbon around the middle of the bow and make a knot on the inside.
Step 4
Decorate a romantic gift with a terry bow. For its manufacture, use rigid ribbons that do not lose their shape. Hold one end of a long ribbon between the edge of your hand and your thumb and wrap it around your hand. Lay the layers gently on top of each other and remove the workpiece from your hand. Flatten it and cut oblique V-cuts at the sides. Carefully move the layers so that the triangles you cut out are in the center of the blank. Pull the bow down the center with thread or wire. Make curvy loops, spreading them in different directions.
Step 5
Decorate an expensive gift with an exquisite French bow. Take a thick silk or satin ribbon that retains its shape well. Make 6 segments out of it, each of which should be 2 centimeters shorter than the previous one. Roll them into rings, glue the ends and flatten them so that the joints are in the center. Place the rings on top of each other, starting with the largest one. Insert your thumb inside the smallest top ring and grip the bow with it. Secure the workpiece with a stapler. Pass a small ribbon through the top ring and glue the ends underneath.
