An unusual towel holder in the shape of a funny chicken can be useful not only in the kitchen, but also in the children's room, as well as in the country.

It is necessary

  • - patterns;
  • - beige coarse calico;
  • - calico in a flower;
  • - coarse calico rich color (for example, polka dots);
  • - reddish knitted fabric;
  • - orange coarse calico;
  • - acrylic paint;
  • - filler (holofiber);
  • - ring;

Instructions

Step 1

Transfer the chicken body pattern to a light beige fabric, taking into account the seam allowances. It is necessary to make a part in duplicate.

Step 2

Cut out the parts for the beak (4 pieces) from the orange fabric.

Cut out details for the legs, comb and beard from the reddish jersey.

Sew the body of the chicken, the details of the beak and all other parts of the chicken, leaving some areas not sewn for eversion.

Unscrew all parts. Narrow areas can be turned out with a ballpoint pen paste, it is quite narrow and glides well.

Fill the body, paws, scallop and a little chicken beak with holofiber.

Step 3

Sew the wings with snow-white thread, imitating feathers on the wings.

Having sewn up all open areas on the details with a blind seam, sew to the body of the paws, a comb, making a small tightening on it (for volume), combine the parts of the beak. Also sew on the tuft and beard.

Paint the eyes and eyebrows of the chicken with acrylic paint.

Cut out a blouse from variegated coarse calico and sew it.

Cut out a polka-dot fabric skirt the size of a rectangle, 20 cm long and 10 cm wide, hemmed on both sides, and join the edges into a ring.

Make an apron for a chicken: cut out a rectangle 7 cm long, 5 cm wide from the fabric from which the blouse was sewn, hem the edges.

Put on a blouse for the chicken, straightening the folds on the chest, and painstakingly wrap it on the back.

Then put on a skirt, pinning it on a thread, for strength, you can sew around with a blind seam, on the skirt - an apron.

Attach a ring to the legs, and hang a towel on the ring.
