Touch-me-not, a houseplant known as balsam, can delight the grower with flowering all year round. It is unpretentious, easily multiplies and loves light very much.

Step 1
Hypothermia contributes mainly to leaf fall. If the increase in temperature in the plant's habitat did not help, then check for the presence of pests on it. Also, the loss of leaves can be triggered by irregular watering of touch-me-not.
Step 2
Leaf wilting is a clear sign of plant dehydration. The only solution is frequent watering, but you don't need to keep a saucer of water under the plant pot all the time.
Step 3
Weak flowering, unfortunately, has a number of reasons: lack of light, lack of nutrition, low temperature or premature transplantation. Try to determine the most likely cause of balsam ailment and take action.
Step 4
Too high a temperature combined with a lack of light will cause the stems to stretch out. If you are sure that the touch-me-not is in a comfortable environment, unfortunately, you will have to throw the plant away. The new varieties do not have such a flaw.
Step 5
If you transplant a plant into a pot that is too loose, then it will not bloom. To admire the flowering of the touch-me-not, the plant must be grown in a cramped pot.
Step 6
Root decay of touch-me-not, like many other plants, is caused by too much watering. Be sure to reduce watering in winter.
Step 7
Lack of light leads to the inevitable fall of flowers. If the balsam is in a location that has enough light to penetrate, try spraying the leaves on the balsam more often.
