The series "Liquidation" was released in 2007. The tape takes the audience to the distant 1946, the scene is Odessa. For a long time, fans of the series could only assume that the second season would ever see the light of day. And so it happened. According to numerous views of the audience, the shooting of the second season of "Liquidation" will start in 2019.
As producer Ruben Dishdishyan said in an interview with TASS, preparations for the filming of the second season of the series "Liquidation" are in full swing. He stressed that the script of the detective series was corrected several times and this year the team came to the conclusion that it will continue to be.
Brief plot of the series
In the center of the plot is David Gotsman (the role was played by the charming Vladimir Mashkov), lieutenant colonel of the UGRO, who is entrusted with the mission of neutralizing groups of criminals who do whatever they want in Odessa. One of the gangs, led by Senka Shaloy, soon finds itself under arrest, but in the turbulent post-war period, a new emergency occurs - the robbery of the collectors. The character of Vladimir Mashkov will have to deal with this intricate case.
Not the last place in the tape is given to Marshal Zhukov. By order of the country's leadership, he was sent into exile in Odessa, he remains the commander, but now he is responsible not for the strategic unification of troops, but only for order in the Odessa district. Thanks to Zhukov, crime was eliminated in Odessa, extreme measures were taken against the criminal authorities, without waiting for the trial and investigation. Street robbers were shot - thus, the crime was, if not defeated, then the damage was inflicted tangible.
The series looks in one go, there is no doubt that the audience is delighted with the tape. It is possible that there would be no question of the continuation of the series if it had not touched the hearts of his fans so much.
What awaits viewers in the new season
- David Gotsman, loved by the audience, will return to TV screens in the same role. About 15 years have passed since the beginning of history. In this regard, the son of the protagonist will be given a special role, because he is no longer a little boy, but a completely grown man at the age of 22.
- Conflicts with Ukraine, most likely, will cause the transfer of the scene from Odessa to another city. Compared to Ukrainian producers, who work more or less calmly in Russia, the team of the series does not want to take risks and prefers to revise the main plot. According to Dishdishyan, Ukraine, in the literal sense of the word, cut off their oxygen. The producer regrets what is happening, but is unable to influence the situation.
New director
It is known that the director of "Liquidation-2" will be Sergei Ursulyak. How the Mashkov-Ursulyak alliance will turn out is still unknown. To date, viewers' expectations are not optimistic, they are confident that the success of the first season is unlikely to be repeated. However, there is not so long to wait until the premiere. What will come of this and whether the audience will be satisfied, it will be possible to find out already next year.
