The dramatic season 5 finale provided the Vampire Diaries fans with an unsettling summer. Fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the sequel to The CW's vampire telenovela.
Instructions
Step 1
The intrigue of Season 6 of The Vampire Diaries is closely guarded by its creators. Producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec and the show's many cast members have refrained from making any official statements. The CW channel has already aired promo trailers of new seasons of its main series - "Arrow", "The Originals", "Kingdom" and even an extended promo video for the seasonal novelty 2014 - the mystical series "Flash", but still does not give the exact date release of the official promo for the 6th season of "The Vampire Diaries".
Step 2
It is known that the pilot episode of the new season was announced for screening on October 2, 2014, its name is still being kept secret. The shooting of the premiere series took place in the summer in the former locations of the city of Mystic Falls - in the suburbs of Atlanta, Covington and other cities of the state of Georgia. All the main cast of the series participated in the filming, as well as Matt Davis, the performer of the role of Alaric Saltzman, who remained a guest star for two years.
Step 3
The fifth season of the series "The Vampire Diaries" ended with the destruction of the "other side" and, presumably, the death of two main characters - Damon Salvator and Bonnie Bennett. The event sparked intense debate within the Vampire Diaries fandom, despair for Delena fans, and a revival of Stelen's hopes of reuniting the pair. Fans argue whether Damon and Bonnie's heroes will return to life, remain ghosts, or disappear forever. The authors of the series do not support, but do not refute any of the points of view.
Step 4
At the same time, according to inside information, the performers of the roles of Damon and Bonnie - Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham, have renewed their contracts with The CW for the next television season. This fact allows the multimillion army of fans of the series "The Vampire Diaries" to hope for a full return of their favorite characters to the main storyline.
Step 5
This July, the Vampire Diaries off-season teaser premiered at Comic-Co Festival. During the 6-minute commercial, the cast actors, not without irony, voice various theories regarding the continuation of the series. Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham even suggest that their heroes will receive a separate spin-off, similar to last year's decision of the TV channel. Then, as part of the spin-off, the Originals project was launched, into which part of the Vampire Diaries caste moved - Daniel Gillis, Phoebe Tonkin, Joseph Morgan and Claire Holt.
