Let's continue to create New Year's mood in the most effective way - with the help of New Year's crafts, which will greatly decorate any home. This herringbone is also very easy to make, like the buttoned herringbone.
In order to make a fluffy Christmas tree out of paper, the surface of which resembles a terry cloth, multi-colored paper (any thin paper - for example, from a set for schoolchildren's creativity or decorative wrapping paper with patterns), glue and / or transparent tape, scissors, decorative elements for desire and availability.
1. Make a cone out of thin cardboard in the same way as for a button herringbone. The cone will be the basis for the future Christmas tree. Trim its bottom so that the tree is stable, secure the edge of the cone with glue or tape.
2. Cut the colored paper into strips. Vary the size of the stripes depending on the size of the future craft. To determine the size of the stripes, cut one, attach it to the cone as in the photo and imagine how the future Christmas tree will look.
3. Glue each strip in half, without bending it, to form a loop. Apply the loops to the base of the tree in rows, gluing each row with transparent tape or attach each strip with glue. Fill the entire base with such rows, to the top.
4. Mask the top of the Christmas tree with a small cone made of colored paper. On this cone, glue a star made of colored paper or a ribbon bow; a bright pompom, a small Christmas tree toy, a large bead are also suitable.
a small Christmas tree made in this way can be used as a Christmas toy (in this case, before performing step 4, glue a loop of thread or a narrow ribbon to the top of the Christmas tree). A larger herringbone can become an interior decoration for any room or New Year's table.
