Make several small Christmas trees from cardboard and colored paper for the New Year. They can consist of paper petals or ribbons cut from the same material. Such a hand-made product does not take up much space and will perfectly decorate a room or a desktop in an office.
Herringbone made of petals
Make a Christmas tree out of different colors of cardboard and colored paper. First, build a cone out of cardboard. Let the essential attribute of the New Year be 40 cm high. To do this, draw a right-angled triangle on cardboard, the sides of which are 40 cm. Round the side of this figure, which is opposite the 90-degree angle.
Now take a glue stick or stationery. Spread it on a thin strip of the untouched side, glue it on the second one. The cone is ready. Start carving out the details in the shape of a tulip petal. To decorate the top of the Christmas tree, you will need 16 small blanks, you also need to make 96 medium and large ones.
Lubricate the bottom of the cone with green paint, and when it dries, start decorating the paper tree. To do this, take the first petal, roll a ballpoint pen over it, wrap the lower (rounded) part of the petal up with this tool. Lubricate the bottom row of the cone with glue, attach this petal with a pointed edge to the top, attach the second one close to it, first bending it up in the same way. When you have completed the entire bottom row, move on to the second. Start by gluing large petals, then attach the middle ones, decorate the top with small ones.
Lubricate the top of the tree with glue, wind a ribbon around it, tying both ends in the form of a bow. Place your handicraft on your desk at home or work.
Other options
Cut out of cardboard and glue the cone in the way described above. Now choose any of the two suggested options for turning the base into a charming paper Christmas tree.
For the first, you need to take:
- scotch tape;
- colored paper;
- scissors;
- glue stick.
Cut strips of the same length from paper, their width, depending on the desired degree of fluffiness, 1-2 cm. On the seamy side, glue both ends of the first tape together. You should have a loop on the front. Arrange all the blanks in this way.
Start attaching parts from the bottom row of the cone. To do this, first glue all the strips of this row on tape, attach to the base with adhesive tape. After completing the first row, go to the second. Cut 2 stars out of cardboard, paint them on the front side with gold paint. Glue these two blanks on the wrong side so that there is space at the bottom. Place the star on top of the cone and admire the finished piece.
If you want to make an original copy of the forest beauty, cut these strips of green paper. Wrap each on a pencil or using scissor blades, leading them from one side of the strip to the other. Glue only one edge of all tapes to the cone. The curly tree is ready.
