Gothic 3 is a continuation of the legendary games of this series. Step 1
The huge map of the mainland is divided into 3 parts: north (Nordmar), south (Varant) and temperate zone (Myrtana). The main character, who was left unnamed, finds himself in the town of Ardea. He, along with his friends, immediately revolts against the orcs, who have captured most of the cities. This is the first task.
Experience, as usual in cases of joint quests, comes not only from the enemies you have killed, but also from the enemies killed by your friends. From the very beginning, the hero has clothes, basic weapons (a pretty good sword "Orc Slayer"), strength and dexterity, which is quite enough for the first time. And also a dimensionless bag. For each new level you will receive 10 points that can be spent on training the hero.
Step 2
After defeating the orcs and liberating the city, it is advisable to rob the corpses and collect orphan weapons. You, of course, will not find anything of value, but it will be possible to sell it profitably. In general, try to collect everything that is bad. As they say, money is never superfluous. One of the most valuable finds is the teleportation stone. It is necessary in order to quickly move around the map. You can find 1-2 such stones in each city.
Next, your journey begins. From city to city you will grow enemies, friends, experience and skills, meet old acquaintances and get to know new characters. There are three storylines in Gothic III: play as King Robar, as the necromancer Xardas, or as the dark god Beliar. By choosing one side, you become an implacable enemy for the other. The ending depends on your choice (there are several ending options in the game).
Step 3
For completing tasks, in addition to experience, you will receive a reputation. When your reputation, for example, with the rebels, is high enough, you will not enter the city of orcs or southerners so easily - they will be beaten.
Do not disdain small quests, as in the previous parts of Gothic, for a small task (skinning someone, knocking out debts or collecting marsh grass), a more voluminous and interesting one may follow.
Orcs used to growl and bellow, now they all talk. Among them, in addition to the already familiar shamans, privates and leaders, there are alchemists, gunsmiths and hunters. Perhaps you will find friends for yourself and be able to learn something new, pump the hero or improve your existing skills.
Step 4
Very often you will have to rescue your old comrades from various troubles in which they constantly fall. There is one significant danger here. Your companions can be killed, and you will lose many tasks or not be able to complete the game at all. Therefore, be careful, take care of your friends. Avoid risky situations and save often.
